How to use the Invoice Generator
- Choose one of the four invoice templates (Clean & Balanced, Prominent Total, Classic with Logo, Accent Bar).
- Optionally add a logo URL in the toolbar.
- Click any field on the invoice to edit it: business name, addresses, client details, invoice number, dates, P.O.#, line items (description, quantity, rate), tax rate, and notes.
- Use "Add item" below the table to add a line; use the trash icon on a row to remove it.
- Click "Download PDF" to save your invoice. Use "New invoice" to start over.
Invoice Generator FAQs
Are my invoice data and PDFs stored?
No. All data stays in your browser. We do not store your business details, client names, or invoice content. When you download a PDF, it is generated on your device only.
Can I use any currency?
Yes. The tool does not add a currency symbol—you can enter amounts in your preferred currency (e.g. USD, EUR, GBP) and the PDF will show exactly what you enter. Add the currency in the description or notes if needed.
What are the four invoice styles?
You can choose from Clean & Balanced, Prominent Total (blue header with total highlighted), Classic with Logo (red accents and logo placeholder), and Accent Bar (teal accent bar). Edit any field directly on the invoice.
Is the PDF suitable for tax records?
The PDF you download contains the details you entered and is suitable for sending to clients or keeping for your records. For tax or legal requirements, always check your local regulations; you may need to retain additional documentation.
Do I need to sign up to create an invoice?
No. The Invoice Generator is free to use without an account. Choose a template, fill in your details and line items, and download your PDF—all in your browser with no signup required.
